October 02, 2008 | by Christopher Nickson
A digital camera containing pictures of terrorists was sold on eBay for just $35, according to a British newspaper.
British tabloid newspaper The Sun has reported that a British man purchased a digital camera on eBay that contained pictures of terrorists, along with images of rocket launchers, fingerprints, al-Queda member names and other data apparently from MI6.
The came, a Nikon CoolPix, sold for around $35.
A Foreign Office spokesperson refused to comment on the origin of the camera and would only say:
"We can confirm that a police investigation is under way."
The news comes just as MI6 has begun using Facebook as a recruiting tool.
