Ubisoft Announces Emergency Heroes for Wii

Ubisoft has announced its open-world driving game Emergency Heroes will ship for the Nintendo Wii in May.

Game publisher Ubisoft has announced it will ship Emergency Heroes for the Nintendo Wii game console this May. Emergency Heroes is an open-world rescue driving game aimed at younger gamers: players will be able to take 16 different emergency vehicles out into the city of San Alto to keep citizens safe.

Players will be able to drive a police officers, firefighters, and EMT vehicles specifically designed for high-speed, high-risk missions, and the entire city of San Alto will be available for players to explore and rescue citizens from dangerous situations. The game will feature single-player mission as well as a two-player co-op challenge where players can combine forces or challenge each other on rescue missions. The game will also feature a Hero Mode, where players get faster access to power-ups and enhancements the faster they drive.

Emergency Heroes for the Wii should be available at North American retailers in May 2008. Ubisoft has not released any pricing or rating information.
