Microsoft Zune 8GB Review
November 13, 2007 | by Ian Bell
Does the new Microsoft Zune stand a chance against the popular Apple iPod nano? You might be suprised, it's a sweet little player.
Snip: "Microsoft gave the Zune the wonderful ability to wirelessly share songs with other Zune users. The new flash based Zune handles the wireless transfers smoothly and with very little setup. Apple should learn a lesson from Microsoft and offer a similar feature in future iPods. Read our full Microsoft Zune 8GB review
Even better than sharing songs wirelessly, the new Zune can be synced to your computer without cables. The built-in wireless radio can be quickly configured to connect to your wireless network (802.11b/g), hand-shake with your PC and update songs, photos, videos or however you configure the Zune to sync - It's fantastic. Well,
I have 160GB iPod and 8GB Zune. So far I like Zune better... The "touch pad" is alot more comfortable than the wheel, and the fact that the back doesn't scratch every time you look at it crooked makes me pretty happy too.
Ah, and yes, iPod 160 IS outdated and obsoleted by the iPod touch (not by Zune, probably)
Regards
